It is with great pleasure that we invite you to Jamar for our third on-property sale. While our stud may be small compared to some, our focus has always been on producing consistent quality bulls from a relatively small herd of females. This year, 25% of our sale draft are progeny from maiden heifers – an achievement we credit to the strength of our core breeding herd.
Founded in 2014 from just 14 classified cows, we often pause to reflect on how far we’ve come in such a short time. It was truly humbling to have received such strong support at our second on-property sale last year, and we sincerely thank all those who have backed us along the way. We remain committed to our open-door policy and always welcome visitors to inspect our herd.
Our breeding philosophy has always been simple: focus on commercial relevance. We breed bulls that breed beef. As an EU-accredited operation, our end product is EU MSA- graded beef—HGP-free and destined for premium markets around the globe. With export demand growing, we are proud to showcase on sale day a selection of our cattle destined for international dinner plates.Our focus remains clear: to produce easy-doing, good temperament, structurally sound bulls backed by a breeding guarantee. We select for weight-for-age, carcase quality, and longevity. Sale bulls are prepared slowly and sensibly over 150 days on a silage-based ration in a paddock setting—giving them the best foundation for long-term performance in your herd and allowing to see their true potential. We maintain a balance of polled and horned genetics, with 74% of this year’s sale catalogue carrying polled or double-polled genetics. As a fully genomic profiled herd through Neogen GGP TropBeef 50K, we back our cattle with integrity and data-driven breeding decisions.
Our breeding principles are simple we expect our females to produce a calf every year focusing on them producing equal or of better quality then themselves and we see this as an uncomplicated and progressive approach.
